Missing Doctor Found Dead. The Tenali police on Tuesday found the body of Dr Kosaraju Jayachandra in a canal near Duggirala in Guntur district and thus cracked the mystery behind his disappearance 10 days ago.
Guntur: The Tenali police on Tuesday found the body of Dr Kosaraju Jayachandra in a canal near Duggirala in Guntur district and thus cracked the mystery behind his disappearance 10 days ago. But, how he landed with his car in the canal still remains a mystery. Dr Jayachandra was a well-known doctor in Tenali. He was doing post-graduation in Gastroenterology in Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad. He used to visit his home town during weekends.
According to a complaint lodged with the police by his mother Annapurna, Jayachandra on October 18 called her up and informed that he had reached Kuchinapalli village and would be home soon. But he did not reach the home even by next day morning. The police, after searching Kunchenapalli and Duggirala villages, after collecting the call data from his mobile phone, found the car in the canal. Investigation into the incident showed that the doctor was addicted to drugs after going to Hyderabad. But his parents disputed it. The police said the exact cause of the death of Jayachandra would be known only after receiving the post-mortem report.
