Hyderabad: Light to moderate rain or thundershowers will occur during the next 48 hours at a few places in north coastal Andhra Pradesh and south coastal AP and at isolated places in Telangana and Rayalaseema, under the influence of a well-marked low pressure area lying over west central Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas. The system has become less marked. A low pressure area has formed in south Andaman Sea and neighbourhood. It will become a well marked one during next the 24 hours. The Met office on Monday forecast generally cloudy sky for Hyderabad. Rain or thundershowers may occur in parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 29 and 22 degree Celsius respectively.

On Sunday rain occurred at a many places in coastal AP, at a few places in Telangana and at isolated places in Rayalaseema. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Kakinada, Peddapuram, Gondapalem, Malkoor, Mahabub nagar, Aswaraopet, Mulakapalle, Wanaparthy, Makthal 3cm each and Nagarkurnool, Nizamabad, Maganoor, Bhadrachalam, Dharpalle 2 each. The minimum temperatures rose at one or two places in Telangana, but appreciably fell at one or two places in coastal AP and Rayalaseema. They were appreciably above normal at one or two places in Telangana, below normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema and normal in coastal AP.

The lowest minimum temperature of 19 and 17 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad, Hanamakonda (Telangana) and Arogyavaram (Andhra pradesh) respectively.
