Volvo bus turns upside down
One person died on the spot while six others were severely injured when the bus they were travelling landed upside down near Chennekothapalli on Wednesday.

Dharmavaram (Anantapur): One person died on the spot while six others were severely injured when the bus they were travelling landed upside down near Chennekothapalli on Wednesday. According to local people, Karnataka State RTC Volvo bus was coming from Bengaluru to Hyderabad.
The bus which was going speedily was dragged towards right due to the sudden puncture of a tyre on the backside and crashed into the divider before falling upside down. Conductor Sidhappa (35) died on the spot and six passengers were badly injured.
The local people shifted the injured to Chennekothapalli Government Hospital. Two of them, whose condition was critical, were rushed to Anantapur for better medical aid. Chennekothapalli SI inspected the spot. A case was registered and investigation is on.
