Andhra Pradesh: Metro Rail project first phase to be completed by 2018

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the Metro rail projects in Vizag and Vijayawada are to be completed by 2018. He met with metro rail designers i.e, Shridharan Committee. He explained his tours in Singapore and Japan to the committee.

He said that the Vizag being populated with 20 lakh people will be soon be developed with IT companies and Pharmacy Companies. He instructed the committee to complete the project as soon as possible. He suggested the officials to write letters to Prime minister and urban development minister to allocate special funds for the metro rail construction in the next budget.
