Telugu writer and intellectual Rachapalem Chandrasekhara Reddy has been selected for the Sahitya Akademi award in the category of literary criticism. He secured award for his book “Mana Navalalu –Mana Kathanikalu” Reddy wrote several thought-provoking books on the new trends and styles in Telugu language, even as he continued to teach Telugu at Krishnadevaraya

Kadapa: Telugu writer and intellectual Rachapalem Chandrasekhara Reddy has been selected for the Sahitya Akademi award in the category of literary criticism. He secured award for his book “Mana Navalalu –Mana Kathanikalu” Reddy wrote several thought-provoking books on the new trends and styles in Telugu language, even as he continued to teach Telugu at Krishnadevaraya and Yogi Vemana Universities. He is now in charge of the C P Brown Research Centre here. Chandrasekhara Reddy made a very incisive critique on Yogi Vemana. He also translated several books.
