Tirupati: TTD Joint Executive Officer Pola Bhaskar on Tuesday inspected the elaborate arrangements made by the TTD at the Lord Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple in Srinivasa Mangapuram in connection with Vaikuntha Ekadasi and New Year on Thursday.

After an hour-long inspection, the JEO said that Lord Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple under the control of the TTD was one of the biggest shrines which attracted thousands of pilgrims on the auspicious occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadasi. He said that keeping in view of the heavy influx of pilgrims rush, the TTD made elaborate security and barricading arrangements to see that no untoward incident took place on the temple premises due to heavy turnout of pilgrims.

He said after negotiating with police and Vigilance Department the TTD has made some special vehicular parking arrangements and queue lines to avoid traffic congestion and inconvenience to visiting pilgrims on Thursday.

The JEO said so far the Brahmotsavams of Kapileswara Swamy temple went off in a smooth way and urged the devotees to maintain the same discipline even on Maha Sivarathri day and co-operate with the TTD.

SE Sudhakar Rao, Temple Deputy Executive Officer Sridhar, VGO Raveendra Reddy, EE Nageswar Rao, CVSO Srinivasa Rao, SP Tirupati Urban Rajasekhara Babu and other officials were present.
