Conduct survey on need for skilled workers
District Collector M Janaki told the officials concerned to conduct a survey about the need for skilled employees in private organisations in the district and to submit a report.
Nellore: District Collector M Janaki told the officials concerned to conduct a survey about the need for skilled employees in private organisations in the district and to submit a report.
She discussed the need and number of employees needed for private companies in the district, with officials of various departments here on Wednesday.
The Collector directed the officials to take steps for giving training to 2,000 persons in various professions and to provide employment in private companies by March, 2015. The district administration will give the necessary technical training to work in private organisations, she added.
Janaki handed over Rs 8.11 lakh and sanction letters to 287 persons who completed training in various professions under Building and Construction Workers Act.
District Additional Joint Collector Raj Kumar, DRDA PD Chandramouli, DWMA PD Goutami, Labour Department Deputy Commissioner Srinivas, District Industry Center General Manager Sudhakar, District Medical and Health Department Officer Bharati Reddy and others participated in the meeting.
