Frustrated over the delay in special category status to Andhra Pradesh, transfer of central funds the deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh K E Krishnamurthy has taken his umbrage on Governor E S L Narasimhan that he was not doing anything to contain the vicious attack by Telengana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and other Telangana leaders on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leadership.

Speaking to reporters on the side lines of a meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday, Krishnamurthy reiterated that though AP has rights to continue its governance from Hyderabad for a period of 10 years, the TRS chief and his denizens were always attacking Chandrababu and other TDP leaders as if they were on exile in Hyderabad and had no locus standi to be here . "It is all because of Governor Narasimhan who is not doing anything to stall the attacks by TRS and Telangana leaders and instead being lenient towards them."

KEK said that that it was rather ironical that the YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was using the same language as that of KCR and attacking the Chandrababu Naidu government more or less on the same lines and and wave length." It is high time YS Jagan realised the real political issues of a new state and supported the TDP government in fighting the common enemies in the best interests of the AP state."

Krishnamurthy urged the Governor to take stock of the issues dispassionately and implement the decisions and tenets of the AP Reorganization Act, 2014 in true spirit and word for the well being of the Telugu speaking people on both the sides of the Krishna Godavari rivers. "Both Chandrababu Naidu and other TDP leaders are not keen to continue in Hyderabad any longer than necessary but we are constrained to stay here for purposes of administration as we do not have necessary and adequate administrative machinery in place as our new capital is yet to emerge," he added.
