Andhra Pradesh Knowledge Mission Launched. The Andhra Pradesh government has conceived a Group of 40 academicians from Universities and Colleges across India to form a core Group of thinkers to drive the state’s Knowledge Mission to transform the state into a knowledge state and education hub.

The Andhra Pradesh government has conceived a Group of 40 academicians from Universities and Colleges across India to form a core Group of thinkers to drive the state’s Knowledge Mission to transform the state into a knowledge state and education hub.
The inaugural meeting of the Core group has been launched with the collaboration of the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad with highlights and targets expounded by Sumita Dawra, IAS, Secretary for Higher Education department to improve higher education sector both qualitatively and quantitatively to match global standards.
During the programme, professors from the ISB, Hyderabad, conducted technical sessions on execution of Knowledge mission. The delegates went through a series of case studies as well - executed projects and listed the strategies that led them to their success.
The participants were given the dual task of identifying the ways of strengthening existing Higher Education institutions and in setting up of new institutions to promote quality education in rural and urban school environments in the state as per global standards.
