TTD to conduct Drama festival in Tirupati

TTD plans to organise a 10-day national level Drama (stage play) festival from June 9 to 18 in a grand manner under the aegis of the 59th Sri Venkateswara Natyakala Parishad committee.

Speaking at a review meeting of 59th Sri Venkateswara Natyakala Parishad committee, TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao said the festival will be conducted at the Mahati Auditorium in Tirupati.

The TTD EO said apart from the enactment of stage drama, this time space will also be given to traditional folk arts including Jada Kolatalu at the festival etc. He urged the parishad to design stage plays not only for entertainment but also hold a social message and promote Bhakti for the betterment of society.
