Rajahmundry: ONGC’s Rajahmundry Asset has won the runner-up award for the ‘Lowest Injury Frequency Rate’ in drilling mines category for 2011 and 2012.These awards are conferred by the Ministry of Labour for maintenance of highest safety standards and adherence to safety standards in mines operations. The Rajahmundry Asset of ONGC has been clinching these awards in various categories since 2002. Lauding the employees for their efforts, Debasis Sanyal, Executive Director and Rajahmundry Asset Manager, said: “Safety is an omnipresent employee at Rajahmundry Asset work centres and never takes a day off and we will ensure this practice continues.”
