Hyderabad: Anantapur, Kurnool and Tirupati recorded the day’s highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius as the day temperatures rose appreciably at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and in Rayalaseema. The temperatures were appreciably above normal at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and above normal at a few places in Rayalaseema. In Telangana, too, maximum temperatures changed slightly.

The maximum temperatures recorded in Andhra Pradesh were: Bapatla 35, Kakinada 36, Kalingapatnam 33, Kavali 38, Machilipatnam 37, Nandigama 38, Narsapur 34, Nellore 39, Ongole 37, Jangamaheswarapuram 38, Tuni 37, Vijayawada 37, Visakhapatnam 36, Anantapur 40, Arogyavaram 37, Kurnool 40, Tirupati 40. In Telangana, too, maximum temperatures changed slightly. They were above normal at one or two places in the State.

The highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Nizamabad and Ramagundam. The maximum temperatures recorded in the State were: Adilabad 40, Hakimpet 36, Hanamkonda 39, Hyderabad 38, Mahabubnagar 40, Medak 38, Nalgonda 39, Nizamabad 40, Ramagundam 40.
