BJP Leader questions the need for Pattiseema

BJP Leader Daggubati Purandeswari on Thursday said that as the Center already declared Polavaram project as a National project, Pattiseema project will not be allotted permission as it is just a waste of money.

With the response towards Pattiseema project, TDP’s response is awaited to this criticism from BJP. BJP and TDP are already at loggerheads over the ‘Special Status’ for Andhra Pradesh, now the questioning for the need of Pattiseema project will further strain the relations between BJP and TDP.

If the Center at this juncture, attempts to scamper the Pattiseema project which AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is so adamant on, then it could be the tipping point in the alliance.
