He plans to hand over cheques of Rs two lakhs (insurance claims) to 49 active TDP workers who were killed in political feuds in the state. Lokesh is the coordinator of the special corpus fund and forum established in the party for the sake of welfare of the party workers. He is also on the board of educational institutions and also the blood bank floated by the TDP for benefit of party cadres and also the common man.
Lokesh is also credited to have drawn up a road map to financially strengthen the party workers with work contracts from government, grants for education of children, self employment schemes and also skill development programs to transform them both into entrepreneurs and also make them employable.
