The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) commenced its three-day sitting in Hyderabad to elucidate public opinion on issues like Dalit Atrocities, Sheshachalam encounter on red sanders, Terrorist encounters in Telangana etc.
The NHRC team headed by its chairman justice KG Balakrishnan commenced its session today and will take up 39 petitions on Dalit issues-21 from AP and 18 from Telangana.
The NHRC has already issued notices to the AP and Telangana governments on the alleged encounters and also sought the intervention of human rights associations in both the cases.
