Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government made registration more customer-friendly by launching an online registration portal, said V Subba Raju, Deputy Inspector of General (DIG) of Registration and Stamps. Interacting with the members of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) Andhra Pradesh Chapter, Subba Raju said people can book their slots for registration and even submit their documents for verification online without waiting for the vendors and document writers or even the staff of the sub-registrar offices.

The portal, www.registrations.ap. gov.in would provide the slot booking and other facilities to the customers. He further said that the portal would also help the customer to know the value of the property and the stamp duty to be paid. The customer can also pay the stamp duty online. The portal would also make models of title deed, gift deed, partition deed and other required material available for customers to develop their own document using the information related to the property.

Subba Raju further said that the customers can also take the help from the mee-Seva centres for slot booking, online submission of document or even preparation of the document. The customer can generate document through the portal by giving details of the names of the seller and buyer, schedule of the property, names of the witnesses and value of the property,
he added.

The DIG said the registration portal would also facilitates registration of marriages, societies and all other activities online, without visiting the sub-registrar office or consulting the mediators. State records 25.79 per cent growth in revenue Subba Raju said Andhra Pradesh State had received 82.84 per cent revenue during 2014-15 through Registration and Stamps department. The government had earned Rs 2820.23 crore this year against the annual target of Rs 3404.56 crore. The earnings were 25.79 per cent more than the previous year’s revenue, which was 57.05 per cent.

Referring to the district wise revenue, Subba Raju said Krishna district earned record revenue of Rs 478.59 crore, which was the highest in the State among the 13 districts. The Krishna district was followed by Guntur with Rs 432.75 crore, Visakhapatnam with Rs 409.55 crore, East Godavari with 350.36 crore and West Godavari with Rs 239.34 crore. The CREDAI Andhra Pradesh Chapter president A Siva Reddy, Vijayawada unit president Ch Sudhakar, general secretary R V Swamy and others were present during the interaction.
