Stating that Andhra Pradesh did not get the special status category due to the 14th Finance Commission’s recommendations, Union Minister and TDP Leader Ashok Gajapati Raju said that the Centre could not favour the decision over AP Special status. The Union Minister added that these aspects won’t be concluded within a year.


Mr Gajapati Raju expressed that Modi government is practical and the decisions are taken after all the friendly parties are consulted. Adding further Mr Raju said that in the first year itself, Prime Minister Narendra Modi provided importance to the social security and has been strengthening the farming community.


The Union Minister went onto say that only three states – AP, West Bengal and Bihar would be with deficit budget after three years.
