Anam demands Babu's resignation, backs Hindupur MLA Balayya for CM

The Revanth Reddy's 'Note for Vote' scandal has become the talking point of political circles in the two Telugu states. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is facing a lot of heat from the opposition parties.

Speaking to the media, Congress senior leader Anam Ramnarayan Reddy demanded that Chandrababu resign from the CM's post in the wake of allegations against him in the cash-for-vote scam. "Chandrababu is the kingpin of the entire scam. Chandrababu Naidu should quit from his post and cooperate with the investigation," Anam said.

The senior Congress leader backed Hindupur MLA Balakrishna saying the actor-turned-politician had all the abilities to replace Chandrababu as CM. It was unfair on the part of Chandrababu to create differences between the two states to escape from the case, he said.
