Telangana sends AP police home
It appears that the AP police stepped back and recalled its own police from Hyderabad. According to reports, AP DGP Rayudu recalled the police personnel who were deployed at various important places in the city. As many as 400 policemen were said to be withdrawn by the AP police.

The AP police on Tuesday deployed its own police personnel for protection of ministers and other functionaries in Hyderabad even as Telangana police teams continued to guard the premises.
Taking strong objection to the deployment of AP police personnel in Hyderabad city, Telangana State Director General of Police Anurag Sharma warned that he would withdraw police protection to all political leaders of Andhra Pradesh State. Sharma also called on Governor ESL Narasimhan on Tuesday and complained against the presence of AP police in the State capital.
During his meeting with the Governor, the Telangana State police chief made it clear to Narasimhan that providing security to people’s representatives and maintaining law and order in Hyderabad was the primary duty of the Telangana State police personnel only.
