Several TDP ministers have showed no signs of holding fire against the Governor and some even used harsh words. There were reports that the TDP also requested the Central government to replace Narasimhan.

The buzz in the political circles is that Narasimhan was deeply hurt by the TDP leaders' verbal attack. He is believed to have shared his grouse with senior leaders.
He reportedly told a few senior leaders saying how can the TDP leaders malign a constitutional authority and resort to such verbal attack.

It is said that the Governor emotionally explained to them that he had not favoured any government and acted only as per Constitutional provisions.

According to reports in some media channels, Narasimhan took the issue to the Centre and sent video clippings and paper cuttings of the verbal attack made by the TDP leaders to the Home Minister. Taking a serious note of this, the Central Government sent a strong message to the AP Government to refrain from attacking the Governor.

Following this, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu is believed to have asked his party leaders to go easy on the Governor and exercise restraint in their speech.
