Governor advises Telugus to maintain peace. Governor Narasimhan on Sunday advised the people of Teluguspeaking States to maintain restraint and peace.

Tirupati: Governor Narasimhan on Sunday advised the people of Teluguspeaking States to maintain restraint and peace. The Governor, who arrived here on Sunday on a two-day pilgrimage to the temple city of Tirupati along with his wife Vimala Narasimhan, made these observations and gave diplomatic reply to the barrage of questions on the cash-for-vote case.

After offering prayers to Goddess Padmavathi, the Governor speaking to journalists said, “My appeal to people of both Telugu-speaking States is to maintain restraint and peace.”

In reply to persistent questions, the Governor recalling a sloka from Bhagvat Gita and said, “Karmanyeva Adhikaraste, Maa Phaleshu Kadachina.” (Indicating that law would take its course). He also called upon the people to practise yoga and lead a healthy life on the occasion of the International Yoga Day.
