The Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday released the models of the Seed Capital City (SCC) of its new capital Amaravati. Ahead of the capital city master plan scheduled to be handed over to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu by Singapore minister S Iswaran in Rajahmundry on Monday, the AP government has released the pictures of how the Seed Capital City would look like after its completion.

Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government on Saturday released the models of the Seed Capital City (SCC) of its new capital Amaravati. Ahead of the capital city master plan scheduled to be handed over to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu by Singapore minister S Iswaran in Rajahmundry on Monday, the AP government has released the pictures of how the Seed Capital City would look like after its completion.
The capital city would have green groves around multi-storey skyscrapers with an inland waterway and multi-model transport passing through the SCC. The entry point will have a fabulous Amaravati Gateway, with two skyscrapers abutting either side of the transit grand-way into the city.
Solar-topped domes with the features of eco-friendly energy conservation would be some of the highlights of the new capital city. According to officials, the capital city will be the best of the smart cities that would come up anywhere in the country in the near future. This Singapore planned SCC would be the most enviable modern urban city planned to meet the needs for the next 100 years.
It would help the state to attract international attention, for investment inflows, tourism, to boost the much needed economic activity for the development of the state. The State Assembly, High Court, Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, residential towers for ministers, senior officials, apart from the commercial zones with international convention center facility, multiple skyscrapers to locate banking, industrial and corporate offices, with high-end technical backbone to support their operations are some of the features of the capital.
Further, the river front capital Amaravati, from its aerial view looks with an ornamented stringcourse would be a well-planned livable city. It would definitely cater to the accommodate the population inflow expected in to the city for employment, public and private offices, as well as commercial and industrial activity, sources in department of Municipal Administration added.
