Chiru takes a holy dip at Saraswathi ghat of Godavari in Rajahmundry

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi took a holy dip at Saraswathi ghat in Rajahmundry on Wednesday.

He performed 'Pinda Pradanam' for the departed ancestors. Chiranjeevi performed the ritual under the guidance of the priests.

The former union minister was accompanied by producer Allu Aravind and other family members.

Speaking to the media after taking the holy dip, Chiranjeevi said that he prayed for the peace of all the persons who lost their lives in the stampede on the first day of the Godavari Pushkaralu.

Hundreds of devotees have gathered at the pushkar ghat to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.
