An APSRTC bus was completely destroyed after a fire broke out at the Tirupati bus depot on Friday morning. There were no causalities as there were no passengers at the time of the mishap.

The driver and conductor of the bus alerted the police. However, the fire had completely gutted the bus before the fire tenders could reach the spot. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The Initial probe indicated that technical reason was the cause for the mishap.
