YS Jagan to stage dharna in Machilipatnam to protest Govt inaction
Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will stage a dharna on August 25 in Machilipatnam of Krishna district to protest against the Government\'s poor response to tackle the spread of viral fevers at Kohta Majeru in Krishna district.

Speaking to the media persons, PerniVenkataramaiah said that YS Jagan would stage a dharna in front of the Krishna District Collectorate to bring pressure on the government. He said that as many as 18 persons died due to viral fever in the past two months.
PerniVenkataramaiah recalled that YS Jagan visited the village and consoled the bereaved family members and demanded the Government to announce Rs 5 lakh exgratia to each family. It may be recalled here that YS Jagan had recently warned the Government that he would stage a sit-in if the AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu failed to visit the village in a week.
