Vijayawada: The State government appointed eight committees comprising of Ministers, MPs, MLAs and officials to make success the Amaravati foundation programme.
The committees including invitation committee formed with Ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Ravela Kishore Babu, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Kamineni Srinivas, MP Konakalla Narayana Rao, MLAs D Narendra Kumar, M Venugopala Reddy, Y Srinivasa Rao and Krishna district collector Babu A as protocol convener.
The hospitality committee formed with Ministers Paritala Suneeta, P Sujata, K Mrunalini, MLAs Alapati Rajendra Prasad, A Satyaprasad, N Anandababu, T Sowmya, MLC Somu Veeraju and Guntur district collector Kantilal Dande as convener.
The State-level celebrations committee was formed with Ministers P Manikyala Rao, Ch Ayyannapatrudu, K Atchannaidu, MLAs A Satyanarayana , G V Anjaneyulu, MLC Y Babu Rajendraprasad and S Ramakrishna and Revenue principal secretary as convener.
The Transport and Security committee was formed with Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa, Ministers Sidda Raghava Rao and Kollu Ravindra, MLAs K Srikhar, Bode Prasad, V Vamsimohan, Vishnukumar Raju and Additional DGP Vijayawada, Guntur Collector and R&B special chief secretary as conveners.
The Media and Cultural committee was formed with Ministers Palle Raghunadha Reddy, B Gopalakrishna Reddy, MP Malyadri Sriram, MLAs Gadde Rammohan, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, K Satyanarayana Raju and MLC Budha Venkanna and Commissioner of I&PR P Krishnamohan and chief secretary of cultural affairs as conveners. The dais committee was formed with Deputy C M K E Krishna Murthy and Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao, MPs Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, Galla Jayadev and Kesineni Srinivas and Guntur Collector as convener.
Organising committee was formed with Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Municipal Minister P Narayana, Government Advisor Parakala Prabhakar, Municipal secretary, CRDA commissioner, Guntur and Krishna districts collectors as conveners.
