The Water Resources Board on Tuesday held a meeting with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada where they discussed the Polavaram project. The AP Government has made the decision to release Rs. 2,000 crore for the project and another Rs. 3,000 crores for other projects.
Chandrababu directed the officials to submit a DPR over the alignment of Krishna and Pennar rivers in 15 days.
