Usually, police open rowdy sheets against a person who is involved in murder, attempt to murder, robbery and dacoity cases and even against persons involved in assault and extortion.
In a first of its kind in AP new capital Amaravathi, the Machavaram police has opened a rowdy-sheet against a woman, who has been charged with serious offences. She is 31. It is said that this is the first case where police opened a rowdy sheet against a woman in 15 years.
