Eluru: As part of Jana Chaitanya Yatra, MLA Badeti Kota Rama Rao, MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao, former MLA Ambica Krishna and Mayor Sheikh Noorjahan toured 11,12,14,15 and 16 divisions of the city to know about the problems of the people.

MLA Badeti Bujji visited every house and enquired about people’s problems. He received plenty of representations from the public in regard to pensions, house sites and ration cards.

Addressing a meeting at the 11th division, the MLA said the government will sanction pensions to the eligible people. He said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is striving to develop the State and has already implemented the loan waiver to DWCRA groups and farmers.

He appealed to people to extend support to the Chief Minister for constructing a world-class capital at Amaravati. He called upon them to donate liberally for the capital construction.

MP Maganti Venkateswara Rao (Babu) said the TDP government is pro-people. The government is giving priority to both development and welfare schemes, he added. He flayed the previous Congress government for ignoring the development of the State.

On the occasion, the MLA along with Mayor Sheikh Noorjahan distributed gas cylinders under Deepam scheme to the eligible persons. TDP leaders S M R Pedababu, Kollepalli Raju and corporators participated in the yatra.
