Cable digitalisation to be over by Dec 26 in WG

Narsapur: A S Dinesh Kumar, Sub-Collector, Narsapur Division, has directed the Master Signal Operators (MSOs) and cable operators in the division to digitalise all the TV channels by December 31 to extend better services to the consumers.
He was conducting a meeting with MSOs and cable operators on digitalisation process of channels on Saturday.
Speaking at the meeting, the Sub-Collector said every consumer should supply with set top box.
He also directed the operators to arrange a toll-free number to record the grievances of consumers. He asked them to submit the progress report within three days. He set December 26 as the last date for the MSOs and operators to submit a detailed report.
The MSOs leaders, RSV Subrahmanyeswara Rao (Dorababu) and R Srinviasa Raj said that 80 per cent digitalisation was completed in West Godavari district. By December 26, the remaining 20 per cent digitalization would be completed. They hoped that the district would stood in first place in the country to do so.
