In a new twist to the call money racket, a complaint was filed against a relative of Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa. In the plaint, the victims alleged of harassment by Dy CM’s relative. The victim Nadimpalli Venkata Ramakrishnam Raju, a native of Challapalli village in Uppalaguptam mandal of East Godavari is a contractor by profession. In 2010 he borrowed Rs.25 lakh from Nimmakayala Satyanarayana, who is said to be relative of Dy CM.

In the plaint, the victims alleged of harassment by Dy CM’s relative. The victim Nadimpalli Venkata Ramakrishnam Raju, a native of Challapalli village in Uppalaguptam mandal of East Godavari is a contractor by profession. In 2010 he borrowed Rs.25 lakh from Nimmakayala Satyanarayana, who is said to be relative of Dy CM.

While Raju paid Rs 20 lakh in instalments of Rs 10 lakh each, Satyanarayana has been allegedly harassing him to pay the remaining Rs 5 lakh along with interest soon after Chinarajappa became Dy CM. The victim said that Satyanarayna pressed him to clear his dues immediately at the of his daughter’s marriage Satyanarayana suggested him to make a sale deed for seven acres of land and promised to pay Rs 75 lakh after settling dues. However after registration was done, Satyanarayana stated that the land was sold to him to as a part of his due and demanded to an additional Rs 75 lakh to clear all dues.

The victim also alleged that muscle men were sent to his house, who threatened him of dire consequences, if he doesn’t sell his remainder of land to Satyanarayana and forcibly grabbed an additional 5 acres of land. When the victim’s brothers Subba Raju and Srinivasa Raju questioned Satyanarayana of injustice, he filed a complaint against the victim and his family. The police confirmed that there is no fault with the victim. They said that Satyanarayana used the Dy CM’s name to file cases against the victim’s family. On Saturday the victim and his family members reached out to DIG P Harikumar to file a complaint against Satyanrayana but as the DIG is out of station they submitted a memorandum to the camp clerk.
