Prathipadu (Guntur): District Ministers, MLA's and officials have launched the third phase of Janma Bhoomi-Maa Vooru in their respective Assembly constituencies on Saturday.

The state government had launched the programme throughout the state with the objective of reviewing the decisions taken in the earlier phases of the Janma Bhoomi programme and also to attend to people's grievances on the spot. Officials and people's representatives will use the platform to popularise the government schemes and to review progress of schemes under execution. The Janma Bhoomi programme will be implemented in 57 mandals and 13 municipalities in the district.

Flagship programmes of the government including Badi Pilusthundi, desiltation of irrigation tanks, cement roads laying, tree plantation and particularly the village adoption programme will be monitored by the officials and people's representatives. Sinking of harvesting pits and cleaning of village drinking water tanks and Swachh Bharath programme will form part of the programme from January 2 to11.
