Officials told to give priority to pending grievances

Chittoor: District Collector Siddharth Jain said that instructions were given to the district officials to resolve pending grievances of the people on priority basis. He stated that lapses in this regard would be taken very seriously.

Participating in the third phase of the Janmabhoomi-Mana Vooru programme at Nadaganipalli village in Irala mandal on Saturday, the Collector said that the State government has introduced several welfare schemes for the benefit of poor, farmers and Dalits.

He gave a call to farmers to come forward for settling their issues including land, pattadar passbooks and titles. The Collector explained the salient features of the Janmabhoomi programme to the public and made an appeal to them to avail the opportunity.

He said that the district officials would take part in the Janmabhoomi programme across the district. “It is an excellent opportunity for the public to resolve their problems in the presence of district officials concerned,” he added. Irala MRO Murali, MPDO Parvathamma, ZPTC Latha, Irala MPP Santhamma and others were present. Later, the Collector distributed the ration cards and old-age pensions to beneficiaries.
