Talari Sirisha, sarpanch of Kothiralla village in the mandal, has been appointed as member of the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) District Task Force Committee. She has found place in the nine-member committee under local bodies quota. The committee selects PMEGP beneficiaries under the aegis of District Industries Centre.

Speaking to newsmen here on Friday, Sirisha thanked Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy and District Collector Ch Vijaymohan for her nomination to PMEGP District Task Force Committee. She promised to strive for empowerment of youth through effective implementation of PMEGP.
