According to sources, the government has already called for preparation of a detailed project report.

The 17-km road extends from Thimmapuram in Yadlapudi mandal to Boppudi and Konagikunta villages in Chilakaluripeta mandal. About 339 acres of land will be acquired for the bypass road. The State government will share 25 per cent of land acquisition expenditure including payment of compensation to the land owners.
