Speculations are rife that Congress leader and former minister Mahidhar Reddy is all set to join the TDP. Sources close to Mahidhar Reddy said that both the YSRCP and TDP invited him to join their parties, but TDP leader Adala Prabhakar Reddy persuaded him to join the ruling party in AP.It is learnt that he is expected to join the TDP after Pongal.

Mahidhar Reddy was a minister in the then CM Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet.
