TDP, YSRCP cadres clash
Utter chaos prevailed during Janmabhoomi programme as the TDP leaders assaulted the YSRCP leaders in Parvathipuram on Monday. The government organised Grama Sabha on the premises of KPM high school, which comes under Ward No 7.
Parvathipuram, Vizianagaram: Utter chaos prevailed during Janmabhoomi programme as the TDP leaders assaulted the YSRCP leaders in Parvathipuram on Monday. The government organised Grama Sabha on the premises of KPM high school, which comes under Ward No 7.
The local leaders of YSRCP went there and questioned the authorities for conducting Sabha on the school premises while the SSC students were taking their half-yearly examination. A few moments later, the TDP leaders arrived there with ragingire and ordered the YSRCP leaders leave the campus. When they failed to expel from there, they used muscle power to drag them out of the venue. This led to jostling between the two groups. Subsequently, the TDP leaders assaulted the cadre of YSRCP and sent them out. MajjiVenjatesh, R Nagaraju, P Jagadish and K Bhaskara Rao of YSRCP along with party functionaries protested holding of the Grama Sabha.
