Attract investments with 24/7 power promise: CM

Andhra Pradesh Government is all set to showcase its unique advantage of providing 24/7 uninterrupted power supply at global standards for attracting investments, in the forthcoming 22nd Partnership Summit, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Visakhapatnam from January 10 to 12. 

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Government is all set to showcase its unique advantage of providing 24/7 uninterrupted power supply at global standards for attracting investments, in the forthcoming 22nd Partnership Summit, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at Visakhapatnam from January 10 to 12.

The government is also contemplating to enter into MoUs with various national and international players in power sector particularly renewable energy, infrastructure projects, ports etc.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials of Energy department to highlight the power supply arrangements to attract investments.

Energy and Investment and Infrastructure Secretary Ajay Jain said that the CM has given his consent to enter into MoUs worth Rs 1 lakh crore in the summit.

Logistics parks owned by Concor, Ministry of Railways, LNG Terminal at Krishnapatnam, Regen Infrastructure India and City Gas distribution project in three districts of East Godavari, West Godavari and Krishna by HPCL have come forward to enter agreements.
