Visakhapatnam: To clear additional Sankranti rush of passengers, railways decided to run special trains between Shalimar and Secunderabad via Visakhapatnam for three trips.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division M Yelvender Yadav said here on Monday that the Train No 00849 Shalimar-Secunderabad special express will leave Shalimar on Sundays i.e. on January 17, 24 and 31 at 12.10 noon to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day at 2.30 am and leave Vizag at 2.50 am to reach Secunderabad on the same day at 3 pm. In return direction, the Train No. 00850 Secunderabad-Shalimar special express will leave Secunderabad on Mondays i.e. on January 18, 25 and on February 2 to reach Visakhapatnam on the next day (Tuesday) at 10.25 am and will depart at 10.55 am to reach Shalimar in the early hours of Wednesdays at 3 am.
