Abhiruchi Sahithi Samskruthika Samstha in association with AVS Hotels, One-Town will organise the birth anniversary (Jayanti) of renowned writer and director late Jandhyala here on Thursday.
Vijayawada: Abhiruchi Sahithi Samskruthika Samstha in association with AVS Hotels, One-Town will organise the birth anniversary (Jayanti) of renowned writer and director late Jandhyala here on Thursday.
The programme starts with garlanding of statue of Jandhyala at Thummalapalli Kalakshetram followed by a few cultural programmes, said the president of Abhiruchi, P Krishnaji. In a release to the media, he mentioned that the event would be held to remember the contribution of Jandhyala as writer and director to the cinema industry and arts.
Classical dance, Eelapata by Madhira Roja Prasannatha and comedy skits would be organised as a part of the programme. Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax department Thelagareddy Satyanandam would present. Film and television artist Pradeep, Jandhyala’s wife Annapurna, daughters Sahithi, Sampada, retired Judge C Y Somayajulu and others would take part in the event, added Krishnaji.
