Vizianagaram: Two persons were killed in road mishaps in Vizianagaram district on Saturday. According to police, K Madhusudan (45), native of Rajam village in Srikakulam district, was travelling to Parvathipuram from Garugubilli on a motor cycle when an auto-rickshaw hit his bike and as a result both sustained injuries. Madhusudan died while shifting to a hospital.
Police registered a case and started investigation. In second mishap, a youth was riding a two-wheeler, along with two others, when their bike hit the road side tree near Salur killing K Somanath (25) on the spot, while two pillion riders suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a hospital.
