Arogya Mithras demand withdrawal of GO
A large number of Arogya Mithras working under the NTR Vaidya Seva scheme, organised a rally under the banner of AITUC, which passed through press club, DMHO office and culminated at the Collectorate here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, leader of the Aarogya Mithra Association, Venkatesh demanded that the government withdraw GO 28, which enables the latter to remove them from service.
He said that they visit all the houses in their purview, identify those in need of health care services under NTR Vaidya Seva scheme and send them to referral hospitals.
He said that they send people, who require treatment for various ailments to hospitals in 108 ambulances or in other means in consultation with the primary health centre doctors or the ITDA officials as the case may be.
He said that they had been rendering services for more than seven years and urged the government not to sack them. Later, the Arogya Mithras submitted a representation to the DMHO.
