Director General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh, JV Ramudu on Sunday reviewed the arrangements for Republic Day celebrations in Vijayawada. Addressing a press conference in Vijayawada, JV Ramudu stated that Governor ESL Narasimhan who is the Chief Guest at the celebrations would be hoisting the National Flag on the Republic Day.
The DGP visited Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium where the parade rehearsals were being held by the security forces and added that 10 different security forces including the Army forces will be taking part in the parade of Republic day celebrations.
