Within 24 hours of receiving the proposals, the guns will supplied to those districts. He said that with one rain-gun, a farmer can spray water to five to six acres in a day. The Minister said the Centre was positive on providing a better price to oil palm farmers in the State. Eluru MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao Collector K Bhaskar, Marketing Commissioner Mallikarjuna Rao, Agriculture Market committee Chairman Kurella Ram Prasad participated in the press conference.

Later, Pattipati conducted an awareness meeting on e-marketing and said that the government has introduced e-trading system in 10 agriculture market yards to provide a better price to the farmers in the State. He further said that online trading will be a win-win system for one and all and said already lemon, jaggery, chilli crops are getting a better price through online and assured to resolve problems in the online system, if any and announced that govt will be introducing `single license system’ in the State to conduct the sale and purchase of crops from anywhere and anytime.

However, some farmers complained to Minister about their problems and few opposed the e-trading which favours the traders only, but MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao assured them no farmer will incur the loss in the yard and all decisions will take up consulting with the farmers.
