Nellore: Joint Collector A Md Imtiyaz directed the officials to implement e-auction system for sand sale in the district. He attended a training session on the system at DRDA Hall here on Saturday.
He said the government had introduced the system recently and issued guidelines for the sale. He advised officials to follow guidelines while taking up the process in a transparent manner.
Unauthorised reaches have to obtain environmental clearance for selling sand online, he added.
