Chittoor: YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) district president and GD Nellore MLA K Narayanaswamy has made a scathing attack on Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for allegedly creating the communal dispute between the Kapus and BCs in the State to derive political mileage. He said development in the State has been hampered due to the inefficiency of the Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues.

Speaking to the media at Press Club here on Monday, the YSRCP leader demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister. He alleged that the TDP workers were attacking the YSRCP activists in the district. The MLA criticised the Chief Minister for adopting a vindictive attitude towards the YSRCP leaders. He made Naidu responsible for the arrest of Rajampet MP Mithun Reddy and Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.

“Chief Minister is playing cheap tactics to defend his failures,” he added. Narayanaswamy alleged that the Chief Minister has failed to fulfil his poll promise of supplying drinking water to Chittoor city.

He flayed Chandrababu Naidu for showing interest in developing Kuppam Assembly constituency for his political survival but not district. He faulted the Chief Minister for speeding up the Handri-Neeva canal works to supply drinking water to Kuppam Assembly segment.

The MLA said the YSRCP would teach a befitting lesson to Naidu in the next general elections. He exuded confidence of YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy become the next Chief Minister of the State. He levelled several allegations against the TDP district leaders for indulging in corruption by swindling the funds in the welfare and development works.
