Two YSR Congress MLAs likely to join TDP
YSR Congress MLAs Pothula Rama Rao and Gottipati Ravi Kumar are likely to join the Telugu Desam party soon. It is learnt that the two MLAs got in touch with Chief Minister and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu and are waiting for the nod. Sources inform that Chandrababu is also in favour of their entry to the party.
YSR Congress MLAs Pothula Rama Rao and Gottipati Ravi Kumar are likely to join the Telugu Desam party soon. Sources inform that Chandrababu is also in favour of their entry to the party.
The MLAs need governmental support to protect their interests and cadre which is said to be the reason behind their shifting loyalties to the TD. Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhan Rao revealed that while both the MLAs are in contact with the party high command, it would still take time for their entry into the TDP party. Meanwhile, TDP gave the nod to Zilla Parishad vice-chairman and YSRC former district president Nukasani Balaji and MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan following which they have joined the party.
