YSRCP SC Cell demands suo motu case against CM

Eluru: Members of YSRCP SC Cell staged a dharna at Old Bus Stand here on Wednesday, in protest against alleged anti-Dalit comments made by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The protestors reached Old Bus Stand from district party office and staged a dharna. They garlanded the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar and paid respects to him before sitting on dharna.
It may be recalled that the CM in a recent meeting said that who wants to be born in Schedule Caste, which created furore among the community. The protestor demanded that Ministers from SC community should resign from the cabinet apart from demanding a suo motu against the CM under SC/ST Atrocities Act.
YSRCP district publicity wing Chairman N Sudheer Babu, district Convenor M John Gurunath, State Students Cell General Secretary Lankapalli David, district Secretary Pallem Prasad, City YSRCP President Gudidesi Srinivasa Rao and others took part in the dharna.
