Ambulance carrying dead body falls off bridge killing three

Three people including a child lost their lives in an accident when an ambulance fell off a bridge in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam district on Sunday. The ambulance, carrying a body along with the relatives of the victim was being taken to Cuttack in Odisha but skidded off the bridge and plunged into canal off the highway near Yelamanchili, 50 km from the coastal city of Visakhapatnam.

While two women died on the spot, the 10-month-old child died while being shifted to hospital and five others suffered grave injuries. The victims were rushed to the nearest government hospital by the locals and the doctors informed that the condition of the injured is critical.
