Atmakur (Kurnool): All set for celebration of Maha Sivaratri at seven renowned pilgrimage centers of Lord Siva in Nallamala forest region of the district. The festival is barely 48 hours away. Special arrangements have been made for the festival for the benefit of devotees thronging Srisailam, Mahanandi, Saptanadi Sangameswaram, Nagaluti Veerabhadreswara temple, Sapta Maheswaram, Omkareswaram, Gundla Brahmeswaram, Rudrakoteeswaram and Kolanu Bharati temples.

The kshetrapala of Srisailam is known as Nagaluti Veerabhadrudu. At Gundla Brahmeswaram, the Lord Siva is known as Rajarajeswara Swamy.
